Orangutan Band
Initially created by Creation Group of Denmark, these automation / loopbots these are intended to play a bass, bongos and guitar. Restored for Gulliver's World in Warrington England.
Pre-Restoration
When we got these characters they were in a state of disrepair. No controller system and various mechanical damage such as a snapped arm.
The cosmetics were also not fitted properly, dirty and clearly haven't been cared for in a while.
Overview
This was a lower-budget quick restoration we had to do for an event, unfortunately we didn't get the original controller or instruments with these characters.
We fixed the characters mechanically - this involved; rewiring, and having to rebuild an entire arm.

We also cosmetically fixed these characters up, cleaning the clothing, fur, hands, feet and face and re-applying it all properly, this makes them all look a little more fresh.

Since the controller was missing, we created a new controller for these characters. This controller activates the characters via button press and plays them for the length of a customisable audio track.
​
Unfortunately due to time constraints we could not give them their old/or replacement instruments, the shows presentation will be handled by the theme park.
